Do you need more time?

We have had a great response to our last email about the Pareto principle (80/20 Rule). This seems to have struck a chord with many IFAs who have been in contact in the last week to enquire as to the actual mechanism of selling the tail book of a business.

To recap, the tail of your business, is those clients after segregation that you decide you no longer wish to provide a service for, the reasons could be economic, personal choice, or a combination of both.

We have advisory firms with funds available now that would be interested in purchasing these types of clients from you, and as mentioned  in the last email, we have previously sold as few as 40 clients on behalf of an IFA.

It is said that small changes can deliver big results, and a reduction of a client bank (even if only slightly) can often allow the business or individual to refocus on core clients, or simply just have more time in life, possibly a halfway house between keeping working and selling up and retiring.

Could this opportunity help you?

Certainly I feel that with the coming of the new consumer duty rules, this is a good time to examine your client bank, and even if you have no intention of selling any, a review is a sensible idea, we can help with this if you need any assistance.
